About Us
About Us
Highly decorated Silverado Middle School, home of the Bears, began serving the families of West Roseville in 1999.
Silverado's programs are rooted in the commitment to establish an educational system that meets the needs of all students in the transition from the self-contained elementary school classroom to the departmentalized high school setting. Our programs emphasize academic integrity while meeting our students' social/emotional needs. Silverado fosters an intellectually stimulating learning environment where all learners experience the meaning of growth, achievement, and high standards. Silverado provides a positive, supportive, and consistent school environment that promotes healthy physical, social and personal growth where students become independent critical thinkers prepared to meet the many and diverse challenges of responsible citizenship.
Principal Rich Knox believes building strong connections is the cornerstone of a thriving campus. Mr. Knox is a highly visible and respected leader, frequently being voted as Best Principal in Roseville. He also was recognized as Placer County's Principal of the Year in 2021.
